Open letter to international organizations for the protection of the rights of the Child
We, Libyan mothers, appeal to the representatives of international organizations for the protection of the rights of the Child looking for help. Every day our children are under constant and deadly harassment. The rebels, these traitors, leading by USA make our children participate in military operations. The cynicism of these people is outrageous. The act of hiding behind children must be internationally condemned. Something incredible happens in Libya: thanks to Americans, always speaking about democracy, all the possible children rights are violated. It seems that the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child is forgotten. You know, the fundamental Right of the Child is the right to life. In other words, children must eat well, have a convenient housing, get medical assistance. Is this right followed in Libya? No. The Convention recognizes the right of the Child to be protected from any form of exploitation, injustice and cruel treatment. Also the Convention recognizes the right of the Child to be protected from war. Do a think are our children protected? Our children who stack ammunition, carry provisions to the front, watch in checkpoints.
Youre people who dedicated yourself to the protection of children all over the world. Dont stand aside! Death and sufferings of our children go to you because only you can stop this outrageous breach of all limits. NATO and US troops bombing hospitals and orphanages will listen only to you. Only you have a real power to change this situation. We beg you use this power. We have nobody to appeal except you. We need your HELP.
