Efforts to censor a journalist because you disagree with his/her reporting is reprehensible, and a common characteristic of the New Right. I saw that segment live on MSNBC, after having seen the Perry speech, and knew right away Schultz was being intentionally misleading and dishonest.

However, if I hadn't seen perry's speech in context Schultz's peice would leave me thinking Perry is a racist.

You are right that is irresponsible "journalism" (in quotes because that really isn't journalism its propoganda).
