Sad to say, our First and Second Amendments might not save us from civil war because the federal government refuses to enforce both.

Note that in all of the decades when the country was being torn down incrementally not one Congress, nor one Supreme Court, tried to stop any of things they surely knew was happening. In that sense, Europeans can be forgiven because they never had the political, legal, and philosophical muscle provided by our First and Second Amendments.

Americans are now at the point of relying on the Second Amendment if they have any hope of avoiding Europe’s fate. It is guns and guns alone that held the government at bay since the country was founded.

The WHO going after tobacco is preposterous in light of the number of deaths the UN causes every year:

The World Health Organization is under fire for purposefully shielding its work from the press, after wrapping up a two-day meeting on cutting global tobacco use that was hosted by Turkmenistan, a human rights and press freedom pariah.

Some are also noting that the Turkmenistan meeting finished just days before the United Nations, the parent entity of the WHO, is set to celebrate World Press Freedom Day, on May 3.

The WHO's Regional Committee for Europe held the April 27-28 meeting to discuss its "Framework Convention on Tobacco Control." That framework aims to cut global tobacco use by 30 percent over the next decade, by recommending high taxes and other means of discouraging consumption.

But its decision to host the meeting in Turkmenistan made it virtually impossible for reporters to cover. Reporters Without Borders ranked Turkmenistan 178th out of 180 countries in its 2016 index.​

The press has been promoting the United Nations since 1945. In the early 1950s the press promised NOT to report on the New World Order crowd’s activities. Every one of America’s immigration and imported disease problems was created by the United Nations. Now, the press has the gall to complain about United Nations secrecy in Turkmenistan’s:
