I had no idea that 2/15 was a holiday when I put in for a half of day with my supervisor. Then someone brought to my attention that 2/15 was a holiday and I told my supervisor I need to change the day again because only a complete jackass would go to see a doctor on their day off

She wanted to know why I can't go to see a doctor on my day off. Because I'm off and that's my day to do whatever I want to do. Am I the only person on the planet who would not go to the doctor on their day off?

I work a 4-10 hour day schedule (Mon-Thurs). I schedule as many of my MD appointments and other business for Fridays as I can. It keeps me from wasting my vacation time on that stuff.

Also it was originally scheduled for 2/5 but the supervisor made me rescheduled because a lot of people are off that day. So that's why I chose the 15th thinking it was a regular day.
