This guy breaks my heart. So much sympathy in society and the media for single moms and kids, as they deserve, but little do you ever hear of an adult male being shown any sympathy, even the elderly who managers over look because the elderly cost more insurance, take more sick days and are just less desirable.

I guess its official... I'm old. 51.. just got turned down from a job that i have experience in... what's left... can't pay rent. Be on the streets in two weeks... can't sleep...When i do, if i don't wake up. It'll be ok with me... that's just how i feel. I remember when you can walk into an establishment and show them what you know. Now everything is done via internet. Its a shame.. all this experience i have. And can't land a job... what happens to me now...dunno what to do but lay down and hope not to wake.

But I guess its just tough shit for Tyrone, as he has no family, no magic new skill set and is mentally braced for homelessness.

But at least some illegal wants that "job no American will do".

. He is poised to become a government dependent is what he will do, and that is when he will find that he will be better off than he ever was working. Amazing right ??? This is the Demon-crats answer to these situations, and the coal miners will be next if Hillary is elected. They don't want Americans working anymore. They want Americans to be made weak and dependent, while the jobs go abroad for cheap labor, then to send those products back here all wrapped in their American labels, to be purchased by dependent Americans who have been put money in their pockets to buy those products from Warren Buffet's (the biggest insider ever), Dollar General stores where they got the money to shop from the over heated printing presses of the federal government.

And what car do you drive? And where do you shop? Do you buy American? Do you write corporations who outsource? Do you support infrastructure work which makes jobs and spreads the wealth? Do you support raising minimum wage and a fair living wage? Do you support unions? Do you vote for candidates on more than single issues like taxes? I do, we do. Americans are the only ones who can bring back jobs but they will not because driving a Lexus is image and image counts more than America or fellow Americans.

CDZ - NAFTA - good or bad?

I'll read the article later but trade works if it is done fairly, seems kinda obvious. When Japan and China manipulate their monetary system to provide lower prices, then you have problems. In terms of work, I'll link two sites below that give a sense of auto work and how much your car benefits your nation's workers. (pass them on) After housing, automobiles are big sale and profit items. People also forget or miss automation and technology advances. When I started work, technology was mechanical, today it is often automated. Where fifty people once worked to provide a service, now only a few do the same work. Americans need to copy Japan's keiretsu, a system in which they collaborate rather than pretend some imaginary market god is in control. It's kinda funny that Americans buy cars made in German, Korea, and Japanese unions and then castigate their own. Shows you how much corporate propaganda controls the American mind.

'In 2014, Chevrolet sold 597 cars in Japan. No, we are not forgetting any zeroes at the end of that figure.'
Donald Trump: Chevrolet in Tokyo, Japan, 'doesn't exist'

"While it may come as no shock that luxury-car maker Mercedes-Benz came out atop the list of least-recalled brands, with an average 0.41 units recalled per vehicle sold, General Motors, with nearly 100 million vehicles recalled since 1985, actually placed third-best, with 0.65 cars and trucks recalled per unit sold.

Of the 15 major automakers surveyed, Hyundai Motor Company can lay claim to having the worst ratio, with 1.15 vehicles recalled for every model sold since it introduced the Excel to U.S. buyers in 1986. Other brands found to have recalled more cars than they sold in the U.S. over the last 30 years (needless to say this represents a number of cars for which multiple campaigns were initiated) include Mitsubishi, Volkswagen and Volvo; Chrysler broke even, so to speak, with a one-to-one sales-to-recall ratio. (Scroll down for the full results.)" Automakers With The Lowest (And Highest) Recall Rates

"If any single number captures the state of the American economy over the last decade, it is zero. That was the net gain in jobs between 1999 and 2009—nada, nil, zip. By painful contrast, from the 1940s through the 1990s, recessions came and went, but no decade ended without at least a 20 percent increase in the number of jobs." http://www.washingtonmonthly.com/features/2010/1003.lynn-longman.html

"The recent job actions and “Black Friday” protests at Walmart underscored the dismal wages and working conditions of many of the nation’s retail workers. Walmart hasn’t staked out some low-wage, no-benefit margin of the labor market: its labor and compensation practices are now the mainstream. For most of the last century, the worst employers in the United States—the tenement sweatshop, the company-town mine—were remnants of our past. Today, they are glimpses into our future." http://www.dissentmagazine.org/blog/the-good-jobs-deficit

"At the top of this list is a trade policy that was designed to put manufacturing workers in direct competition with low-paid workers in the developing world. This had the predicted and actual effect of lowering the wages of U.S. manufacturing workers. Since manufacturing jobs are comparatively well-paying jobs for the 70 percent of the workforce without a college degree, this policy had the effect of lowering wages for this larger group of workers as well." How to Create Middle Class Jobs

Why is it Americans do not call out media sources that criticize American companies for government support while they ignore other nations where government suppliers and manufacturers cooperate and collaborate. Consider imports to Japan (Keiretsu). Why no mention of Japan's embargoes? Fox constantly mentions GM in a negative tone, as do most American conservative media sources. Why not call them out for bias? Rush Limbaugh supports Germany with his auto purchases, while he criticizes America's workers, does anyone notice? Glenn Beck and most of the others never touch the hard topics of fair wages, outsourcing, monetary manipulation, or work in sweat shops that amount to slavery conditions. Now all of a sudden the conservatives are noticing inequality as if it materialized this past year.

"Japan ships 1.5 million cars to America each year, but allows only 20,000 American cars into its own market. Since 2012, Japan’s yen has devalued by 50 percent against the dollar. Now Japan wants tariff-free access to the U.S. market through the TPP while it continues to cheat on currency." see American Manufacturing.org and TP

I dont think Tyrone is going to be helped by me writing a letter to GM about why they are moving their auto production to Mexico.

Call me cynical if you want, but Tyrone will be on the street before that can help anybody with anything.

What we really need immediately is for the Federalis to ENFORCE THE FUCKING TREATIES for currency manipulation and blocking our exports to their countries.

End of story.

Yep, it sucks that we have such stupid leadership; Trump is right on that claim, by a long mile.

Answer: lower taxes, lessen regulations, so that it is inciting for businesses to come back - we need to study shipping costs, other countries labor costs and their taxes etc.

Then phase in (and I think phasing in is a handshake in the middle that will hopefully spur them into action) an import tariff.

On the other side, I'm sorry but the open boarders thing is a no go. We cannot do it UNTIL we get the jobs back - jobs must come first.

What is the republicans answer?
The Republicans are half of the problem too. The other half is the Democrats.
. That's why we see some Republicans tearing themselves apart trying to look like their promoting the nation, but in reality they are no better than Hillary is or any of the other traitors who have sold this nations security and internal strength down the river. They will see that it will catch up with them all, because to lose the respect of countries like Russia who won't sell their country out, will put us in a weakened down position in the world. Other nations are strengthening while we are weakening. Not good. Us thinking money is greater than our internal strength and security has already been showing up as a disaster, and there is blood on politicians hands big time.

They are doing what they have always done, promoting the controlling interests of the nation, and pissing on everyone else. It's what Reagan did, and both Bush'. It is refreshing that you people have finally become cognizant of it.

. Been aware of it, but the democrats are doing it on steroids. They being weaker in character makes them more vulnerable to it all imho. Hillary will be the worst, because her and Bill are experienced at selling us down the river.

Yeah, I know, the democrats. They have been more stealthful at it, that's for sure. Which makes all the more perplexing why republicans have just become vocal about it. Republicans never tried to hide their love of corporations, yet you all marched in lockstep with them until only fairly recently.

I and many others have not sold our souls as of yet to either party, thank you.

I am not directing this at you. It is more of a generalization. If it doesn't pertain to you, don't get offended. And I am aware that some of you have been awakened to the perils of partisanship, thanks in no small part to GW.

Lowering taxes and eliminating regulations will do nothing to change the fact that labor rates overseas are far lower than in the US.

Wow, Hillary had a Latino or Philipino maid who she ordered to print official documents for her. I wish we could get that maid to tell us how it was to work for this woman (I bet that would be an eye opener).. We might just see how good she holds on to the Latino vote etc. after that. These people like Hillary and the other Washington elites crack me up with their hypocrisy when it comes to hiring maids or other workers, because they (in public) act as if they have the American workers in their best interest, but in their private lives they are doing something completely different. I wonder what her pay was, and why didn't Hillary use that position to help an American to get ahead in life ???? Was she American or an illegal one wonders ?? Hmmm.... I think it was said she is a Philipino. Hmmm.

. Yep your right, because labor under communist regime's are in no way competitive playgrounds for the American worker to win against. We should absolutely make it illegal for our American corporations to use communist work forces to make our products and send them back here to us, because it is treason to do so. We are against forced labor practices here, and they are illegal here, but we allow our corporations to use it over there ???? How dam stupid or hipocrite are we to do or allow such a thing ??? Trump has been right on his speak about this stuff, and it needs to change. Even Trump realizes the wrong this nation has engaged in, and even he wants to change it.

Usurious and confiscatory corporate taxes combined with outrageous union demands drove manufacturing jobs overseas.

Manufacturing plants without unions flourish and thrive in America.

Unions are obsolete. When they learn the meaning of the word "respect" and the expression "mutual respect" they will find that the thug tactics of Jimmy Hoffa, Richard or Leo Gerard or Barack Obama are obsolete in the twenty first century.
