One 12-minute video that's guaranteed to make a libertarian out of anyone

American Libertarianism is nothing but a way to be a right-winger without ever being in a position of having to defend any of their stupid shit.

You have far more in common with us than you know, little one. Stick with me, You'll learn alot about yourself.
I can guarantee that I have devoted more thought and study to the various "-isms" than you have.

It's not about the "isms. any more. The same people who what to deprive me of my rights, want to deprive you of the same.
The only people who have ever directly threatened my right to mind my own business have been right-wingers and their buddies, the police.
you dont understand our political scale..

only leftwing authoritarians would stick their noses in your life,, true american rightwingers dont care about your life cause theyre to busy with their own,,,

What I'm saying is based on what I'm seeing being formulated by the incoming Biden administration, and some of the left's reaction to being left out of loop. The Biden administration seems to be systematically throwing the leftist elements who fell for their promises, under the bus. I would surmise that within a year or so, many of them will be almost as disappointment as we who know better, already are. Being the optimist I am, I see this as an opportunity to forge alliances with those whom we have at least a thing or two in common. You and I detest everything the establishment Democrats stand for and given the way they shoved Bernie Sanders under the bus and are backtracking on their promises to the left, they should probably come to the realization that we do have certain things in common.

I know that would seem to be a perilous alliance, but war is war. "The enemy of my enemy", and all that stuff.

of course I stand against anything coming out of a biden or democrat agenda,, but until repubes move back right of the constitution there is nothing I can or want to do with them,,,

they are as much a danger as dems in the long run,,,

trumps another story,,,

Not all leftists are completely aligned with the establishment Democrat's agenda. We'll deal with them later, just as Lenin or Stalin dealt with their own "useful idiots." Like they're fond of saying, "The means justify the end."

Ya know what I mean?
yes I know what you mean,,, some of them are republicans,,,

"Closet Republicans." They just don't know it because they haven't been mugged yet.

:auiqs.jpg:
based on the last 50 yrs of their record its the establishments not the rinos,,,

keep in mind both dems and repubes are left wing,, just that dems are further left,,,

thats based on their platforms,,,

There are elements farther to the left than Democrats, RINOs, and Never-Trumpers. Those I'm referring to tend to be anti-government, anarchistic, pro-Second Amendment, and those who firmly believe that the establishment Democrat Party doesn't really represent their core beliefs. I can name four or five such individuals who regularly post on here.

The task is to convince them of how badly the Democrat Party has betrayed them, and to form a shaky alliance with them. We do after all, have some things in common, don't we? Other countries embroiled in the same political upheavals do the same thing on a regular basis. Alliances are formed with whomever shares similar sentiments.
I've found very little I have in common with republicans other than stopping the dem machine,, and they arent trying very hard even now with whats happening to trump,,,

Agreed. The establishment GOP has done little in the way of supporting this President, staring all the way back when Paul Ryan was the House Speaker.

it has nothing to do with trump,,, hes just another qualifier to their corruption,,,

I'm more of a right-wing authoritarian and truthfully, I've never really considered myself to be a "libertarian". There are however common threads between what I believe, and what libertarianism believes. We both tend to lean to the right, and we both abhor statism. That same element can be observed in certain parts of the far left, if you look hard enough. Even though the majority of the far left tends to be focused on a quasi-socialism and total control by the government, certain factions of them do exhibit the same distrust of government exhibited by libertarianism.

What a strange world this has become, when we find that our mortal enemies have more in common with us, than we believed.

Well worth the watching:

What's the title of it? It won't allow me to view it, says it's age restricted, and it won't allow me to view it unless I have a google account, which I don't. I can search for it on a different platform, I refuse to get a google account.

The right's alliance with the "deplorables" precludes any possible broadening of their base from any theoretical disgruntled liberals. Doesn't matter what you say you believe I'll never vote for the same people as the white supremacist scumbags. Non-negotiable.

We're not all "white supremacists", as you've been falsely led to believe. What I'm talking about in this thread has already made itself evident. Remember the plot to kidnap the Michigan Governor? Even though that was thwarted in its infancy, it was in no ways being conceived and carried out solely by "right-wing "white supremacists", as the news media do falsely portrayed. True, there were some of those among the members, but it was in reality a conglomeration of both rightist and leftist elements, both of which had common goals: To stop the Michigan Governor from continuing her oppression of all citizens of the state of Michigan, whether they be "left" or right."

Look at the evidence: Some of the members were depicted with anarchist flags in the background of their social media pages. Some of the members also registered their disgust with government in general, as well as President Donald Trump. Those were not your typical "right-wingers" by any definition of the term.

These are times in which the lines of demarcation between what's "right" and what's "left, are growing thinner by the day. But when it all boils down, don't we all want the same things? To be free, to live our lives as we want to, and to be unencumbered by oppressive government interference in our lives? Surely you can understand that.

Oh yeah, Larkin Rose is a towering intellect in the free minds circles. It isn't left or right here, it is about opposing the oligarchical collectivists. . . on the right and the left.

The interlocking directorate media all fear him, but he makes all the circuits and is a thought leader for those who really cherish civil rights, civil liberties, and freedom, regardless of one's political leanings.

I can tell you, he is no fan of Trump either.

If you are ok with swapping the ragtag far far left lowly educated street anti-government know nothing street fighters for the NEVER Trumpers on a long term alliance I’m good with that.

I had to find five versions of his video on Youtube, before I found one that wasn't hamstrung by censorship or restricted as "adults only."

Youtube must really hate the guy or something.

Perhaps one of your recruits just got his sovereign ass arrested. A sovereign citizen:

“Sovereigns hold truly bizarre, complex, antigovernment beliefs that are rooted in racism and anti-Semitism,” SPLC explained. “They believe they get to decide which laws to obey and which to ignore, and they don’t think they should have to pay taxes. They participate in protests against governments or use “paper terrorism” – filing bogus lawsuits and fake liens on properties – to carry out their mission of disorder. Sometimes, they get violent.”

A loaded pistol, three spare magazines, a knife and a bullet-proof vest? Those are my every-day loadout.

:laughing0301:

Unlike him though, I'm not a "prohibited person", I generally pay my taxes, and I love my local law-enforcement. They're a great bunch of guys and girls.

Rightwing white Christians Nationalism and Authoritarianism - post: 26021308 reply to 26019431,

authoritarian is left wing not right,

What about the White Christian nationalists who put Trump over the top in the Republican primary? Are you forgetting those religious, moral and patriotic authoritarians to whom Trump promised Political POWER, if they overlook his un-Christian moral deficiencies and blindly support him.

Libertarians who have allied with that cult are fools if they think they are promoting individual liberty and freedom for all beliefs and non-beliefs in what was designed by our founders to be a pluralistic civil society where the dominant religion must never sieze civil power in our government.
Here’s psychiatrist Scott Alexander, writing at Slate Star Codex:

People talk about “liberalism” as if it’s just another word for capitalism, or libertarianism, or vague center-left-Democratic Clintonism. Liberalism is none of these things. Liberalism is a technology for preventing civil war. It was forged in the fires of Hell—the horrors of the endless seventeenth century religious wars. For a hundred years, Europe tore itself apart in some of the most brutal ways imaginable—until finally, from the burning wreckage, we drew forth this amazing piece of alien machinery. A machine that, when tuned just right, lets people live together peacefully without doing the “kill people for being Protestant” thing. Popular historical strategies for dealing with differences have included: brutally enforced conformity, brutally efficient genocide, and making sure to keep the alien machine tuned really really carefully.

Alexander’s warning is made all the more poignant by the cold reality of American right-wing authoritarianism. As I noted before, the constituency for Vermeule’s Christian authoritarianism can fit in a phone booth. It’s the Trump supporters who fill stadiums. It’s the populists at CPAC who fill convention centers. Vermeule and his allies may long for Constantine. They’ll get Donald Trump Jr.

The ability to live together peacefully, the goal that George Washington articulated almost 50 times in letters and other writings through the prophet Micah’s poignant words—“Everyone will sit under their own vine and under their own fig tree, and no one will make them afraid”—is one of the most potent expressions of the common good in human history. We disrupt it at our extreme peril.

No it’s not you ignorant buffoons - you and Galt . This is in my post:

“.It’s the Trump supporters who fill stadiums. It’s the populists at CPAC who fill convention centers.”

Trump and his base of white Christian evangelical nationalists authoritarians are not a menace in France.

If libertarians can’t read it’s because they hate to pay society to educate all upcoming generations of Americans.

We disrupt it at our extreme peril.
as you will notice thats the french system not american,,,

No it’s not you ignorant buffoons - you and Galt . This is in my post:

“.It’s the Trump supporters who fill stadiums. It’s the populists at CPAC who fill convention centers.”

Trump and his base of white Christian evangelical nationalists authoritarians are not a menace in France.

If libertarians can’t read it’s because they hate to pay society to educate all upcoming generations of Americans.
thanks for posting your french propaganda but I will stick with american history,,,

Doesn't even understand what he's lying about.

You apparently can’t explain why you ignore the threat that white evangelical Christian nationalist authoritarians joined with the corrupt anti-libertarian and anti/pluralistic Trump regime could do to America.
