CDZ on the future of the South China Sea (do we want to just hand it over to China, who i believe have a valid historical claim to those waters)?

i'm Dutch, not American.

we have a multi-party political system over here.
with right-wing parties, left-wing parties, a green party, a nationalists' party, a socialist party, and they all get along just fine.
oh ok.... if people would put what country they live in it might help....we have a couple canadians and a brit here talking like they are Americans....they had to tell us too...

You haven't responded to the points raised in my post.
ok, well normally, learning the arts of geo-political and mass-media war, takes years.

so let me give you the initial highlights to start with :
- the Earth should not be ruled by just one alliance of countries.
it's never been this way, and all empires that have tried to achieve this status, have quickly faltered and disappeared into the history books.

- it takes time to quell opposition to a strategic + tactical takeover of a territory / country.
the Chinese do this by labeling that sedition / seperatism / terrorism.

- once political stability has been achieved, the laws of the new rulers can be administered relatively peacefully.
You saw that for instance in the Roman empire, the Mayan empire, and how China treats Hong Kong these days.

let me know if you have any further questions, but think carefully about what i said here first please.
sleep on it, or have a beer and a chat with someone you trust, possibly, before you reply again, *please*.

Waters that China is claiming that belong to them is actual disputed waters between Vietnam and the Philippines and has more to do with oil than the actual shipping lanes.

China believe that because it is called the South China Sea then what is within it boundaries belong to them but that is ridiculous because then Mexico could make the same claim about the Gulf of Mexico.

Because a Sea is named after a country does not mean they own all the rights over it and China is foolish to think that the World will just roll over and accept it.

You're obviously new to this whole message board thing.
no, i'm not actually :) i started out on a Dutch-Maroccan forum after 9/11, then finally after a few years won the discussions there, and was asked, friendly, if i would take it to the international level.

i eventually found defence.pk, spent years arguing and defending NATO there, but got cornered with wise + very-assertive arguments by the Muslims and Asian nationalists there.

so now i'm here to give you those arguments in a friendly tone. :)

You're not wowing anyone so far.

You're not wowing anyone so far.
i don't care. i wow decision makers and actually smart, patient and nicely assertive people, that's all i need to do.
i for instance instituted the Iran Nuclear Deal back since US-Republicans were hanging out on compuserve.com (i was account-holder peacefularg there),
maintained it during the George Bush, Clinton, Trump and now Biden administrations, and i even followed the queues by Trump to tighten up the original parameters of the deal (no more ballistic missile development by Iran, and a significant reduction in their militant middle eastern regional interference campaigns).

and by the way, that's the only reason i support policies like the economic crippling of Iran to the point of people standing in long lines for their daily basic supplies (for years!)....

let me know if you have any more real questions for me.
and try to keep the insults to a minimum, then i'll do the same for you.
after all, we're in a widely-read audience right now..
I have never had any questions for you, kid. You have a lot to learn before you pretend to offer advice.

i suppose we can start floating the ships around the South China Sea then... it'll be costly, we'll end up paying the Chinese government taxes for transit rights, but you got a valid point.

i'll try to bring it up on my peacefan @usmessageboard.com account sometime soon, but they got a lot on their minds already, ideas i introduced there this week, which go against decades worth of sturdy American indoctrination of their own populations...

South China Sea row: British aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth ignores Chinese threats
i am thoroughly against regional and large scale wars.
that just wastes lives and money. don't get me wrong, i'm not against the arms industries of Earth at all..
i think they're doing a fine job keeping us strong.
i just hate to see mass casualty events.

but i can't always go against (large-scale) government + mass-media-industry PR campaigns happening in multiple major countries at the same time, and doing *that* also goes too far against the principles of free speech.
that's where manipulation starts, and you end up being a meglanomaniac. which i'm certainly *not*. :)
To let China have anything means like Hitler and our crappy BLM pigs go on to demand and take more and more. It's cheaper in money and lives to stand up to them now rather than later....it was smart of Trump to go after them financially with tariffs now with Biden in we are fucked.

Toss Biden out, get trump back in asap..............fight the war against CHINA NOW. Target their pocket books first---take out their allies Gates/Bezos and our greedy billionaires.

why are you even here then, if not for honest *polite* discussions where you expect differences of opinions and education?
I discuss, but no one has anything to 'learn' from the likes of you, boy.
