Ohio comes out of the toss-up category

Romney could have been a good candidate, if he had stuck to being the person he is and not tried so hard to appease the far right. His pick of Ryan as a running mate may well have been a worse pick than McCain picking Palin in 2008. While die hard far right Republicans probably love Ryan, everyone else hates him. Romney sold his soul to the devil to get the nomination, something he didn't have to do. Now it's over because the majority of Americans don't agree with the far right. And let's be clear about something; the far right today is way out there compared to Reagan. Those on the right have very little in common with Ronald Reagan.

I disagree.

Romney's idealogy isn't his problem, it's his personality.

Idealogy is overrated. the 45% who are conservative will vote for a one-eyed mutant if he has an R after his name and the 45% who are liberal would do the same if he had an D after his name.

It's the 10% in the middle who are influenced, and it has a lot more to do with how much the candidate empathizes with them than what their idealogy is.

Romney is failing because he lacks the ability to connect with people. And this was true in 2008, it is truer now.

Conservatives are not the kind of people who get too worried about polls.

They're not? Then why would conservatives stampede by the tens of thousands to rally around some clown who creates a fantasy revision of 'unskewed' polls ?

Why would such outright lunacy immediately win the hearts and minds of conservatives all across the country? In droves?

RCP averages polls that are purposefully oversampling dems.

Nothing to see here.

So Fox News is "oversampling dems"?

Not just oversampling Dems, purposefully oversampling Dems. It's a conspiracy, dontchaknow.
