To me there are several unforgiveable things the DNC has done of late, really too many to list but let's say advocating for sex changes for kids against the science, exerting ridiculous levels of control over the people using COVID as an excuse, advocating for willy nilly mail in voting procedures and blocking investigations into the predictable election results, throwing away our energy independence at great risk to national security among them.
However practically inviting illegal immigrants in then slamming them in the cages Obama built and Trump was blamed for is inhumane. I realize that we must control imigration and I understand the political reasons why things always remain M/L the same despite promises from both sides.
BUT, I also get that many of these immigrants are good people and they were invited. Inexcusable.

Because Conservatives and Libertarians respect individual beliefs, liberty and choice regarding masks and vaccines OF COURSE you will see diverse views within the GOP and Libertarian Parties.

However, for Gov Abbott he has consistently defended both vaccination AND freedom to decide without govt mandates.

This is like the equivalent of the Prochoice issue among liberals and Democrats.

Being Prochoice doesn't mean promoting abortion/babykilling; it means not having govt mandates control or punish the free choice of the individual.

We have long needed to separate funding and jurisdiction between liberal and conservative beliefs.

The abortion issue and then the LGBT issue showed where both left and right refuse to fund and follow the other approach to policy.

Now the CRT and medical mandates make it more obvious.

Instead of secession, we can solve multiple political deadlocks by separation of funding and jurisdiction by party.

Right now in TX, the state levels of govt are banning the mask/vaccine mandates by govt (although businesses can require them), while city, county and school level administrations are pushing for mandatory policies.

So why not let all taxpayers choose which policies they believe in and agree to be under and pay for?

We already have this split going on.

Even Conservative councilman Mike Knox enforced the State policy while the City Mayor was trying to enforce the mask mandate.

Why not separate jurisdictions and quit imposing one policy over the other???
