They have been saying for the past 12 years that tax cuts and cuts in entitlements programs will balance the budget and pay down the deficit and create jobs but it has not happened but had the opposite effect. Record unemployment and jobs loss and rising deficit.
We cannot do in 2012 what Reagan did in 1988 (or was it the biggest tax increase in America history and not the biggest tax cut in American history) and expect the same results because the circumstances are worlds apart. Jobs were not leaving the country by the millions putting people out of work and in welfare lines. Poverty rate was lower and people lived within their means. And we did not have 20 million illegal aliens and 500,000 anchor babies which is a liability and not an asset.
Economical recover, balance budget will not come until tax cuts for the rich expire and an across board moderate tax increase, off shore accounts are taxed and jobs brought back, deportation of 20 million illegal aliens who is a liability and not an asset. And on top of that clean house in all areas of government. Our government is as corrupt as Mexicos and some need to be jailed and new ones given a competency test like recommended for our teachers who are failing our children.
