I keep hearing about this 'public option'.

However, I fail to understand how health insurance will continue to be optional.

It won't be optional. He said as much last night in his speech.

In short, you will be required by law to have health insurance.

Xenophon remembers the speech better than I and I appreciate his comments. Did the OP not lilsten to the speech or even bother to take the time to read the text of it before this post?
