The Divider-In-Chief is at it again, pouring gasoline on a fire.

Wright was a bad man, in a community that produces so very many of the same kind of bad people as it turns out

As the police knew Wright had a weapons charge against him they were justified to use lethal force once he broke away and ran to his car. He was a danger to the police and to the public at that point. And here we have the jackass Øbama with these moronic remarks.

“Our hearts are heavy over yet another shooting of a Black man, Daunte Wright, at the hands of police,” the two said in a written statement.

“The fact that this could happen even as the city of Minneapolis is going through the trial of Derek Chauvin and reliving the heart-wrenching murder of George Floyd indicates not just how important it is to conduct a full and transparent investigation, but also just how badly we need to reimagine policing and public safety in this country.”

“Michelle and I grieve alongside the Wright family for their loss,” the statement continued. “We empathize with the pain that Black mothers, fathers, and children are feeling after yet another senseless tragedy. And we will continue to work with all fair-minded Americans to confront historical inequities and bring about nationwide changes that are so long overdue.”

The Obamas closed with a call to action, directing readers to connect with advocacy groups and find resources on trauma and mental health on the “Anguish and Action” page on their website.

Thank you for linking to a real source.

Wright was not a "bad man" and was a 20 year old kid. His mom just bought him a new car. Now he's dead and will never have a life, or kids, or a family.

EDIT: oh and get a life.

I love how the Dems are all talking about Police Reform now....remember that voted down EVEN debating police reform...when one of the only black Senators in the US Senate brought the issue to the floor. Just shameful....sad....maybe had they not blocked even debate, we could have a constructive law, and this man would be alive today.

Since when is 20 a "kid" -

I don't know people that choke women and rob them are pretty bad. Not sure he did, but that's what there was enough evidence to charge the man with

None of us are really bad, though every once in a while in between being a good person, some of us mess up, make some bad decisions and might commit a crime.
It's not for a cop to know how good of a person someone is. When they ran the expired plates they saw he had warrants, and possibly had an unregistered gun in the car. Doesnt matter how baby faced a person might look.... they can still be dangerous.

Sure the guy did not deserve to get shot. It was a mistake that would not have happened if he did not break free from an officer who was trying to cuff him.

People need to take a step back and realize it was a mistake and not a calculated execution of a black man and these facts matter.

Obama should be urging his "sons" to reform their own damn behavior

So, yet again, ignoring the 800 lb. gorilla in the room, (innate violence of poor black communities). Instead, kick the dog (police) as if its going to fix anything.

Daunte could have been my gay lover........er........son. :)

What does "Police reform" mean? It's a freaking cliche by the king of cliches. What we need is a generation of kids who aren't educated in front of Hollywood and violent vid games. We need a generation of Black kids who want to be part of the American dream instead of dreaming about killing Cops.

Please that bill Scott presented was a joke, that wasn't any kind of police reform. He was just doing flunky duty with that bill.

Dumbass what was the excuse when we were being denied the American Dream?

When we were not allowed to go to Hollywood.

The police were doing the same thing they were doing in those days as they are doing today.
