So. Cal, Malibu!
It's quite obvious that his so-called green jobs policies have been an abject disaster. They are just one more set of entities for him to ignore these next 14 months.....It's just another set of entities that the repub's must hammer him on, to further prove he's an economically illiterate disaster of a President.

And, it is quite interesting that the MSM is staying as far away from the subject as possible. Unfortunately for them, the repub's will no doubt throw it out front and center for all to see during these next 14 months.

The following is just a taste of his failures on the green jobs issue. And explains a lil' bit about the MSM's cover up of said failures.

Networks Barely Criticize Obama's Disastrous 'Green Jobs' Policies

Duh, we all know Obama's green jobs policies have been a failure - but at least he's trying. Republicans just say NO while playing stink finger with each other.

Yeah, and one of these days you might actually add someting intelligent on a subject.

You're obviously not very bright, and one of the most ignorant posters on this board. But maybe when ya' grow up and get a lil' older, you'll be able to contribute something of substance.

We'll see.

Sorry Jester... The GOP has been playing obstructionists to just about anything and everything that Obama proposes. It's hard to implement things when Congress doesn't play ball.

Still trying to play that myth?

Here's the only FACT you need to know.

Over 70% strongly oppose Obama's handling of the economy. Meaning, the independents are dropping him in droves......The economy is what will decide the election. His blame game, along with the blame game his Obamabots are trying to play, is not working, as his continually dropping approval ratings across the board fully prove.

Obviously, the american people are tiring of his BS...Tiring of his trying to blame everybody, and anything for his failed leadership They don't want to hear it's ATM's, internet, earthqakes, tsunami's, republicans, congress, Tea Party, arab springs, heat waves, BAD LUCK or any other ridiculous BS he's tried to blame for his abject failure......Yeah, the Obamabots will believe his crap, clear thinking americans are no longer buying it. The polls prove it, and it cannot be refuted or denied.

He's in Carter territory now. Unless he pulls an immediate economic rabbit out of his boney ass, he's done!

Don't show me Polls... show the truth. I don't give a shit what 70% of the people THINK... then 70% of the people haven't been watching what the fuck is going on. Your side is the stonewallers and you have been since the election. You know it, I know it, most of the American people know it.

If you truly believe otherwise, then you are in denial.

You want the the truth?......You can't handle the truth.

Obama has not come up with ANY plan to create jobs or turn this economy around.....There has been NOTHING to obstruct, except obstructing his further failure, and the taking of this country further into the damn ditch.

He's failed on every level....He had plenty of time, and the senate and house majority to get things done....He rammed through a failed stimulus, and what will be shitcanned albatross of a jbs killing healthcare bill..Those were his brilliant ideas. The stimulus was cure all. What a joke that turned out to be.....And lets not forget the following blunders:

Green jobs policies.....FAIL
Cash for Clunkers.......Fail
Mortgage relief........Fail
Infrastructure spending....Failed....And now the stupid SOB wants to go for round TWO. He's a friggin' idiot.

Did he offer up a balanced budget?
Did he tackle the debt problem?
The deficit?
Reduce spending?
Borrowing?

He did NOTHING, but waste time fighting for a ridiculous healthcare bill that is looking like it will never see the light of day........And in the meantime, came up with stupid shit like cash for clunkers.

And that is exactly why his poll numbers are falling trough the floor......The independents are walking away in droves. He cannot be re-elected without them.

And those are the TRUTH'S.

What Green Jobs Crisis? Environmental Groups Take a Fresh Look at the Numbers | Popular Science

Last week, we told you about a New York Times analysis of the green jobs sector, painting a disappointingly dismal picture given all the hope surrounding economic growth via clean-energy technology. But now, a new piece from the watchdogs at Grist has taken strong issue with the Times's dreary conclusion.

“Green” jobs have actually been on the rise for the past eight years, growing at double the pace of the rest of the economy, Grist’s piece points out. Like the Times, Climate Progress editor Joseph Romm quotes a July Brookings Institution study on the health of green jobs.

Especially in the economy’s “clean technology” sector, a subset of the overall clean economy that accounts for things like wind and solar energy, the news is pretty good: 10 to 18 percent annual growth since 2003.

The Natural Resources Defense Council also takes issue with the Times’ report, which it said mischaracterized a lack of growth in Silicon Valley as indicative of larger failings, while ignoring growth in the Rust Belt. “In some of the areas hit hardest by both the recession and long-term outsourcing of U.S. manufacturing, the new clean economy is bringing jobs back,”

US Green Job Growth Amidst Struggling Economy - 10 cities that are leading the way

Knoxville, Tennessee: In 2009, Knoxville added 16,135 green jobs, placing the currently unemployment rate for the city at 7.7% - that's a full two percentage points lower than the statewide unemployment rate and 18.% lower than the unemployment peak in 2009. 1 out of every 20 jobs in Knoxville are considered "green." Most of these jobs are from Oak Ridge National Laboratory, an innovative technology company that focuses on solar and other technologies.

Raleigh-Cary, North Carolina: The Raleigh-Cary unemployment rate has dropped from 9.8% to 7.9% since early 2010, adding 16,677 green jobs in the year 2010 alone. The majority of these jobs are in the public sector, with the hope that green private sector green tech jobs will follow suit.

Des Moines-West Des Moines, Iowa: Des Moines green jobs are growing at a rate of 11.4% per year. Des Moines has one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country, in part due to the growth of green-sector jobs. The region has been able to experiment with different job-promoting strategies due to its low unemployment.

Little Rock-North Little Rock-Conway, Arkansas: The green economy in the Little Rock area is increasing by 10.5% annually. In 2010 this region added 11,933 green jobs, mostly in the wind energy industry and green manufacturing sector.

Albany-Schenectady-Troy, New York: Albany holds over 28,000 green jobs, with 6.8% of all jobs in the city being the green sector. That is the largest percentage of green jobs in the nation. This growth is largely attributed to GE technology center and government programs.

Ogden-Clearfield, Utah: The Ogden-Clearfield area is adding jobs in the green sector at the rate of 8.6% - that's 2,111 new jobs in 2010 alone.

McAllen-Edinburg-Mission, Texas: Added 2,203 green-collar jobs in 2010. While the unemployment rate is still higher the nation average at 11.4%, the growth of the green economy is expected to help this number drop steadily over the next several years.

Tulsa, Oklahoma: Tulsa's une, plyment rate has dropped from 8% to 6.4 since January 2010, thank in part to 7,130 green jobs.

Toledo, Ohio: Toledo has been struggling as the automotive industry has shrunk over the past several decade. From July 2010 to July 2011 they added 11,831 green-sector jobs in the year 2010, decreasing unemployment from 13.4% to 9.3% in about 18 months.

Albuquerque, New Mexico: Albuquerque has added 9,912 green-sector jobs in the year 2010, decreasing unemployment from 9.4% to 6.8% in less than a year. This increase has been in both green tech and green manufacturing.

California green job growth outstrips tired old brown economy

Next 10, a San Francisco nonprofit, published a survey Wednesday that shows that California's "core green economy" grew more than three times as fast as the state's old brown economy between 2008 and 2009. It's a trend that resembles the boom in software jobs since 2005.

"The green job data is significant because these jobs are growing in every region across the state, outpacing other vital sectors, and generating business across the supply chain," F. Noel Perry, Next 10's founder, said in a statement. "There are very few business sectors in a state as large as California that employ people across every region. The emergence of this vibrant Core Green Economy can be attributed to California's history of innovation, as well as our forward-looking energy and energy efficiency policies."

US battery industry to expand to $33.6 bn by 2012

Manufacturing batteries is an estimated $9 billion-a-year industry in the U.S. Revenue is sometimes affected by varying prices of nonferrous metals such as zinc and lead. By 2015, the U.S. manufacturing segment is expected to top $10.4 billion.

Duh, we all know Obama's green jobs policies have been a failure - but at least he's trying. Republicans just say NO while playing stink finger with each other.

Trying doesn't cut it when you're trying to expand an energy source that is supplemental at best. Wind, solar, aren't concentrated sources for energy. Again, they are supplemental at best. That's not trying, that's failure. We should set the bar higher.

Just saying. There are plenty more.

Evergreen Solar Inc., the Massachusetts clean-energy company that received millions in state subsidies from the Patrick administration for an ill-fated Bay State factory, has filed for bankruptcy, listing $485.6 million in debt.

Evergreen, which closed its taxpayer-supported Devens factory in March and cut 800 jobs, has been trying to rework its debt for months. The cash-strapped company announced today has sought a reorganization in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware and reached a deal with certain note holders to restructure its debt and auction off assets.

Sorry Jester... The GOP has been playing obstructionists to just about anything and everything that Obama proposes. It's hard to implement things when Congress doesn't play ball.

Two years they had solid Dem in the White House and Congress. Now let me remind you Congress is both the House and Senate, seems like almost everything that comes out of the House gets tabled in the Senate these days, it doesn't even come up for debate. Which party controls the Senate today?? <Oh snap> That's right, it's the Dems.

So the Republicans are bad and are obstructionists, but the Dems are doing the right thing. :eusa_whistle:

Yea, it is hard to implement anything when Congress doesn't play ball, you are correct. :)

So tell me, are those jobs numbers anywhere near the 5 million jobs he promised??

Obama promised to create 5 million green jobs within ten years. Investors’ Business Daily has a list of that plan’s successes so far.

- On his recent jobs tour Obama stopped at a Johnson Controls plant in southern Michigan, which received $300 million in green grants and plans to create a whopping total of 150 jobs, at a cost of $2 million per position.

- Evergreen Solar Inc., which received unknown amounts of green stimulus funds on the hope that it would create “between 90 and 100 jobs” two years ago, filed for bankruptcy this week, $485.6 million in debt. Their Massachusetts plant once employed 800 people; in March it was replaced with a factory in Wuhan, China.

- Green Vehicles, an electric car “maker” in Salinas, California, took $500,000 from the city and almost $200,000 from the state but has failed to produce even one car.

- And as reported earlier on this site, Seattle was one of a handful of cities that received $20 million in federal grants as part of Retrofit Ramp-Up, a program designed to refit houses with more energy efficient materials. Unfortunately, as KOMO4 of Seattle reports, after more than a year “only three homes had been retrofitted and just 14 new jobs have emerged from the program.”

And for when they were in total control the excuse is?

you fucking moron... That would be like the Republican Party has control of the house... which in years past...they did. But not this year. They have the Tea Party to deal with. They can't get shit done in a timely fashion because they have to suck off the zealots to the point they acquiesce to a proposed bill.

That's the way it was with the Dems... the Blue Dogs held shit up, and the GOP certainly wasn't giving votes away.

It just goes to show the extent of the AM Radio brainwashing around here.

Come on,they banned those "Evil" lightbulbs didn't they? They're doin great. And his "Jobs Czar" GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt has created a lot of Jobs...In China. :(

The Dems ran the show until earlier this year... and they still have 2/3... nice try though.
