Wouldn't agree it's 'woven in the fabric' but it's been here all along. US is a defacto Christian nation. Both in the majority of the population, as well as much of the history of it. None of the colonies or states have arab names so while Islam has always been a reliigon with some representation, it's not any big part of the USA.

Barton is a moron, a Christian apologist and liar, and nothing like a historian, and this nation wasn't founded for any religion but the vast majority were and still are Christians. As to the President being supportive of Islam, BFD:
