So 1 million users per day will risk losing their personal information to the first hacker that successfully infiltrates the site's database.

Now the problem is on the back end as the information isn't transmitted. People think they signed up, and they didn't.

Of course, the figure of a million a day is coming from the dimdems who lie anyway.

GOP Leaders Trash Obamacare As Healthcare.gov Reports One Million Visitors On Monday

Keep in mind GOP -- History is written by the winners.

The major problems with the roll out with be called "minor hiccups".

You guys were fucked by your own Tea Bagging base.

Visiting isn't the same as signing up for insurance.

50,000 Sign up for Internet Gambling in NJ; 741 for Obamacare...
29,000 signed for insurance on healthcare.gov in the first two days in Dec. California, Washington and New York who have their own state exchanges report increasing number of people buying health insurance.

From your link:

About 29,000 people signed up for health insurance on the federal government’s
HealthCare.gov website during the first two days of December — more than during the whole month of October, a source familiar with the numbers says.

That would be an unamed source.

Julie Bataille, a spokeswoman for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, which runs the site, would not confirm the 29,000 number.

That would be a named source.

In October, just 26,000 managed to sign up using the federal website, which is serving 36 states.

Pitiful!

26K in Octber and an unconfirmed 29K in two days from 36 states does not impress me, especially since more than 5 million had their healthcare cancelled in the same time frame.

They probably already have!

Does anyone really believe this Govt. would tell the public the website has been hacked at this early stage?

Don't even have to go that far.

Hackers can get onto the site and skim your info while you are just browsing. Though I don't know the jargonese term for the practice, Internet Explorer was (still is?) famous for being exploited for that kind of hacker activity.

The website isn't the problem- it's the POS law itself. Once the employer plans start cancelling next year, it is going to get ugly for the Democrats.

2014 will be a landslide.

I wonder how many people are even aware of this. Its going to get REALLY ugly next year.

Only a small fraction of those that have had their insurance cancelled will have any need to buy insurance off the exchanges. The administration has changed the rules, to allow insurance companies to continue to offer the cancelled plans in 2014. For those who want to change plans, only those that qualify for subsidies, about a third of those who buy individual insurance have any reason to buy off the exchanges.

Wow...1 million people looking to buy insurance.

I wonder how many were dropped and are now going to pay more ?
