Obama tried to cut Strategic PPE Stockpile every year for his first 6 years.

TRUMP'S Budget request

The budget request would trim funding for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention by almost 16 percent.

Seems you still can't read more than one sentence at a time. Typical of a window licking moron.

He even used up the stockpile and refused to replenish it. He actively tried to make America unprepared for an emergency.

What an anti-American fuckwit.

Obama administration repeatedly sought to cut PPE stockpile, but Biden team points to GOP-led 'budget squeeze'

In its fiscal 2011 budget, submitted in early 2010, the Obama administration explicitly sought a reduction in the SNS: "CDC requests $523,533,000 for the Strategic National Stockpile in FY 2011, a decrease of $72,216,000 below the FY 2010 Omnibus," the budget request reads.

The document went on to make clear that $68,515,000 would separately be transferred to the SNS from the fiscal 2009 appropriation for an H1N1-related fund, meaning that overall, the strategic stockpile would receive $592,048,000 -- a reduction of only a few million dollars from the previous year.

The Obama administration also sought a $47.572 million cut to the stockpile in fiscal 2013, a $38.190 million cut to the stockpile in fiscal 2014, and a smaller drop of at least several million dollars in fiscal 2015.

Indeed, the Obama administration's budget requests implicitly reference the Budget Control Act several times. The fiscal 2013 budget, for example, states that the "current fiscal climate necessitates scaling back" even though the SNS is a "key resource."

And, the fiscal 2015 budget states: "CDC has always sought to maximize the effectiveness of resources and investments, and is even more focused on doing so in the current fiscal environment."

Youve got a mostly false rating from politifact.

Odd how they left out the 13,000 people who died from H1N1 in 2009 while Obama was President.

Politifact wouldn't have done that on purpose, would they?

They also left out the thousands who died by getting shot to death with the assault weapons Barry sold the Mexican drug cartels.

We shouldn't be relying on some national , government owned stock pile to begin with anyway. We should have been telling hospitals, businesses, individuals, etc to prepare. This should have been/ should be the message

Since deaths from the flu can range from 12,000 to 60,000 per year, it would seem that 13,000 people dying in 2009, would be on the low side of that number.

I don't recall bodies piling up in hospitals or doctors and nurses on the street dressed in garbage bags begging for PPE's, either.

Good on President Obama for keeping the deaths from H1N1 so low, while he was dealing with the economic crisis and an economy that was shedding 500,000 jobs per month.

Ummm...H1N1 is not the regular annual flu.

And perhaps you can detail for us what Obama did to prevent H1N1 deaths.
