President Obama still is pressing Congress to pass his jobs stimulus bill immediately, but his own party leaders in the Senate, where Democrats have a majority, have pushed that vote off yet again.

Majority Leader Harry Reid, Nevada Democrat, said Monday night that when the Senate returns from a weeklong vacation, the chamber will work instead on a bill that would push to label China a currency manipulator, which would make retaliatory steps in order.

<snip>

Mr. Reid is the Senate sponsor of the measure, but he said there are other priorities.

“We’ll get to that, but let’s get some of these things done that we have to get done first,” he said.

Obama's jobs plan isn't top priority for Reid - Washington Times

Time to face up to the fact, my liberoidal Obammy fluffer brothers and sisters; the fake "jobs bill" is a political prop, never intended to get passed, meant only at a flimsy pretext to claim that republicans don't care about job creation during the election.

I'm rather surprised by this. The Democrats should know that jobs are the #1 priority for the country. It's also good for them going in to re-election. Odd that Reid wouldn't be pushing for this.

Of course, this doesn't change the fact the GOP have offered zero jobs plans so far, but still, Reid's behavior is weird.

Obama, Reid, and Polisi are all frauds, along with half the cabinet and all the Czars that he appointed. This has been a disaster from the get go and yet some of you still don't get it that we are in real trouble and he is offering more of the same.

Having said that the Conservative are so busy blaming Obama that they don't have any solutions either. I think I have an answer.

Let get rid of all of them and start over with working Americans running the show.

You mean his tax and spend plan?

Can't imagine why anyone would want to touch that toxic plan.

As a mindless, drolling, zombie sycophant of the left in general and Boiking in particular, of course you're surprised.

But not so much so that it'd get you to recognize that the phony "jobs bill" is a mere political prop, for which the only "jobs saved" are meant to be those of socialist/progressive muckraker politicians and their assorted hanger-on flunkies.

Anyone with 1/3 the average brain knows that this bill has never been a "Jobs Plan".
It is a tax increase bill called a Jobs Plan.

What do you mean the Reps have no jobs bills out there??

Jesus. Everything they send to that idiot Reid gets filed on his desk and is collecting dust as we speak.

The House also has a budget. Haven't seen one from Reid and his buddies yet. Have you??

Looks to me like Barry can't even get his own Dem Senate to pass that faux jobs bill of his.

Here's the Obama job plan:

Imaginary plan, imaginary jobs, all paid for with imaginary money.

Ok, I have to credit Mark Steyn for that.. and sorry, I paraphrased.

What did I get wrong? How will those bills create jobs? How will cutting government spending and laying off government workers result in MORE people working?

I would love to hear your explanation.

Whatever happened the Democrats "Pay as you go" plan? Talk about a very short lived program, can't expect Democrats to come up with funding BEFORE they come up with another massive stimulus plan that wastes taxpayer dollars. They love to spend OTHER people's money, but play the "weeping sympathy violin" should you try to hold them to responsible for spending cuts.
