Let's see, 9 million students at aprox 3,800 per year each is 34.2 billion per year. The feds pay 75% along with a lot of strings put on the States and schools. I really don't see this making it through the GOP congress or very many cash strapped States adopting it if it did.

My other grandson is on a 5 year free ride from the USAF (ROTC scholarship). They just asked if he would like to opt out of his commitment...still keep the scholarship. I hear what you are saying. Many good ideas.......poorly managed.

What is truly funny is how it is socialism, so you try and hide it again because of it's horrible track record of failing.
