Today's Gallup 7-day tracker has Mitt Romney leading President Barack Obama 51-45. Horrible, right?
First of all, this is all pre-debate stuff. But forget about even that, because look at the poll crosstabs from yesterday's edition (when it was 50-46):

Obama Romney Margin

East 52 48 O+4

Midwest 52 48 O+4

South 39 61 R+22

West 53 47 O+6

Daily Kos: About that Gallup poll

3 years ago, would Democrats have been exicited if they were told Obama is +4 to +6 in every region except the south?

Hell no, they would be panic stricken. A single digit lead is good for Romney, not Obama in those areas.

I never get overly excited or depressed about polls no matter which direction they go..

Yet you post them incessantly and draw wrong conclusions from them all the time.

I think I have made 3 posts on polls, but never made any conclusion about them...my view is the election will be close.

With a fucked up economy and obama wins we know the election is corrupt and paid for.

Yes, and so far, Romney has pulled out to take the lead in electoral votes:
