Obama Got This One Right

It's gonna take troop commitment to battle ISIS, Boko Haram, Taliban, al Qaeda, etc., and like most here, I don't want Americans in the line of that fire. What better way to make this an all intra- Arab/Muslim World affair - with just enough American influence - than to frame the threat and the conflict as our president did today? He can't get our Arab "allies" to commit by brow-beating them about the foul nature of their culture so instead he appealed to their sense of pride and self-preservation. Beautiful. This has all the makings of the 10 year long Iran/Iraq war in which the combatants generously agreed to kill over 1 million of each others peeps and sink over $1 trillion of their treasure into doing so. The trick for us is to supply just enough lo-tech support to keep the fire burning.
