You people are stupid as hell. The democrats don't want to end the filibuster, they just want to return it to the way it was. Make the filibustering senator hold the damn floor. And even that is a risk, because while they hold the floor the Democrats need to have a majority present for any call to vote. You flippin idiots have no clue as to how Congress works. The filibuster is a relative modern vehicle and was rarely used until the Civil Rights legislation was introduced. Republicans are the ones that used the nuclear option for SCOTUS nominees, something that democrats did not do. In fact, they only implemented the nuclear option for other nominees because Republicans were completely stalling all judicial nominees. You can thank Dick McConnell for that. Asshole is a piece of work. Only a shithole like Kentucky would continue to send him to the Senate. Hell, he makes Jesse Helms look like a saint.
