The New York Times has posted on their website video and a photograph of the dying moments of Texas native Staff Sgt. Hector Leija after he had been shot in the head in Iraq, having never sought permission from the Pentagon. The reporters responsible have had their press passes suspended and the incident has caused extreme outrage around the country.

Good post. For the NYT it's just a sensible jump from pictures of flag-drapped coffins to dying soldiers, right? In my book--and in others' as well, judging by the big bucks the NYT is losing-- the NYT lost all sense of decency/propriety long, long ago.

New York Times Hits Bottom, Digs

On the heels of Washington Post writer William Arkin’s anti-military piece, now we have the New York Times publishing a picture and video of a US soldier dying in Iraq—before his family was notified. And even though the Times says they’re going to apologize, the video is still there.

This is a new low. The media are in full-tilt failure-promotion mode, and they don’t care who they have to hurt to do it.

Michelle Malkin has more: The NYTimes’ unspeakable violation.

That's disgusting. More evidense that "the paper of record" is moving farther to the insane faction of the left, if that's possible.

Just waiting to hear the lame justification that will follow.

It's as if there is no 'too low.

Hey, when it comes to winning their war against that hated imbecile George W., nothing is ever too low for the NYT. :eusa_think:

Now the NY Times offers bulk subscriptions to terrorist traing camps. They need to increase their readership over there since they are losing readers over here
