It's worse in Chicago. Over fathers day weekend, 104 people were shot, 10 fatalities so far, including a 3 year old child. This weekend, three children were shot to death, and the weekend isn't even over yet.
This is nothing more than a rehashed Ferguson Effect. When criminals realize the police are more scared of them than the they are of police, all hell breaks loose. Some will blame police, some will blame BLM, some will blame Antifa, and yes, some are trying to blame the President. But who is the real culprit here? The media.
Polls are showing a downfall in President Trump's approval rating, even though none of this is his fault. For the media, that's like giving your dog a treat for biting the jogger that went past your house. It will only encourage the dog to do it even more.
