Let me see if I can find where I read it, and get you a link....

If memory serves MacIssac said he had the computer about 3 months, before having a friend contact Giuliani's lawyer, to give it to him.... 3 months would have been around July 20, 2019.... if it took a month or two in the least, to actually reach him and give it to him, that would be August or September 2019....months before the impeachment trial.

Trump was impeached around December 18, 2019 and the impeachment trial was a month later, January 16, 2020 thru Feb 5, 2020.

The FBI subpoena of the laptop was dated December 9, 2019....and it would take at least a month to get enough info, for the FBI to get a court approved subpoena with probable cause.... my complete guess from reading a bunch of articles is that Devon Archer, Hunter' s partner was under investigation or already charged with money laundering, and the FBI got the subpoena ....for their fraud case against Devon.....and some other guy who was a partner.

My understanding is that he promptly turned it over to the FBI, because it frightened him, it contained material that clearly contradicted the Biden defense in the Impeachment case, and between the drug and underage sex stuff, clearly detailed felonies. Then after he turned it over the FBI it was only after complete silence and a great deal of time elapsed, that he began to fear that it was simply going to be buried, and that is when he reached out to Rudy.

That's a great question and it brings up some other points. The FBI cannot compel evidence production, for that, they need a US Attorney who convenes a Grand Jury, and it is they that have that power, though once the subpoena is in hand, the FBI can take it from there. That is how we knew early on that the Hillary Clinton Email "Investigation" was a farce, there was no Grand Jury and no prosecutor, and so no evidence was compelled. Instead Comey made deals with Mills and others, to obtain laptops and so forth, they put restrictions on how it could be used, and added stipulations that after production the material could only be held for a certain period of time and then it was all to be destroyed. By the time Comey and the Clintons were done with this farce, there was no way anyone could retrace their steps and establish that crimes had been committed.

In this case, a US Attorney for the Baltimore Field office obtained the Subpoena with the following case number: 272D-BA-3065729 on the receipt for the hard drive.

272 refers to 'Money Laundering, Unknown SUA [Specified Unlawful Activity] – White Collar Crime Program.' "D" indicates that's international. The 'BA' in the file number indicates the case was opened by the FBI’s Baltimore field office.

I think he got it much more recently than that. As for the "underage sex" thing, I'm no sure about that. I read some of the texts and emails that are supposed to support that, and I was able to come up with some less damaging possibilities. The following is just by inference, but, it fits with what was provided as evidence.

I think the 14 year old girl described is someone that Hunter acted inappropriately around, as in walking around naked in front of her, face-timing sexual encounters with others in her presence, but not necessarily that this involved this girl, who I think is his niece. It was his sister in law (and lover) who lodged the complaint, Joe Biden knew her name, but the concern wasn't that Hunter involved her in his activity, but that it produced what the email/text described as a "hostile atmosphere". I think an "inappropriate sexually charged atmosphere" would probably be more accurate, with the remedy not having the daughter alone with Hunter as he clearly was not in a place where that was appropriate given his lifestyle. I hope that's all there is to it. The kiddie porn could be a moral weakness of Hunter's and it could be that these two different issues are being improperly mashed together with the wrong conclusions drawn. I hope so. I have not viewed the photos and videos, nor do I want to.

... Just an FYI, the FBI is limited to what they are allowed to view on the laptop..... They can only review emails related to the subpoena, by law. So, as example, if the subpoena was for fraud, they can only search emails that could be related to fraud.... not the sex, drugs, and rock n roll pictures... is my understanding of the law and our right to privacy...

That would make sense. One of the warrants or subpoenas was signed by the US attorney that specializes in Child Porn, so, they may have investigated that, and hopefully, eliminated it.

If those emails are authentic, and the Biden's won't cooperate with investigators, a Special Counsel may be needed.
