Now What? Texas Democrats Have A Very Hard Choice To Make

The Democrats of the Texas legislature have remained out of state since July 12th. Their extended absence has been to protect the voting rights of certain Texas citizens (the state’s non white people), which the state’s Republicans are determined to bar from casting ballots.

However, for all their valiant efforts, what the Texas Democrats are unable to see is how very hard the corporate controlled moderate Democrats in Congress are working to enable red state Republicans to pass voter suppression legislation. Between January 1 and May 14, 2021, at least fourteen states enacted twenty-two new laws that restrict access to the vote.

The moderate Democrats in the House and Senate discovered long ago that, as the minority party they could coast. This gloriously simple life permits them to help the congressional Republicans screw average Americans, and then, tell their constituents they are powerless to prevent it. Over the past few decades, the moderate Democrats learned of the generous honoraria offered by wealthy political contributors for their assistance to the GOP.

To protect their close association with these munificent benefactors, the moderate Democrats in Washington D.C. want to tell the Texas state Democrats, ‚ÄúTo get the he11 out of town.‚ÄĚ But that bit of honesty could seriously endanger their relationship with the folks back home, if the news ever got out.

It’s inevitable that the Texas Democrats will be forced to return to the sh!thole state they call home. The Texas Republicans need only be patient, after all, the moderate Democrats in Washington are on their side, and have, repeatedly proven they will do nothing to protect the Voting Rights Act. This will give the GOP the freedom to severely limit voting in every red state.

But, will the Republicans’ efforts to stymie rank-and-file Democrats’ voting privileges be necessary after the 2022 Midterm elections? With the current voting restrictions in place in red states the Republicans’ congressional majority is assured.

Even without all the GOP’s cheating, the moderate Democrats’ dismal performance for 2021 has voters disgusted, and the outlook for any improvement on the moderates’ part in 2022 is equally grim.

Combining these several factors and gazing ahead to 2023, the Republican’s return to dominance ensures Biden, Harris, Pelosi, etc. with be thrown out of office... constitutionally... or not. The question then will be, who will move into the White House? With the trump Nazis and trump a$$-kissers calling the shots...

So, you lie in your very first paragraph.

The Republicans are NOT trying to bar citizens of any color from voting. Any citizen, regardless of ethnicity, who has the legal right to vote in Texas, will not be prevented from doing so.

They have been effective in getting the message out on the issue, more than anyone else. By being in the news cycle night in, and night out, they have used the rightwing propaganda ploy of repeating something over and over again, until it sticks with a large enough group of people. What they have done might not bring results in the next election, or even the next few elections, but it will slowly but surely eat into the state laws being passed, until the day comes, there are no more laws that can be passed, that will be of any consequence on voting rights.

If Republicans lose just two more states turning blue, they are done, and it doesn't matter which two they are. Democrats have time on their side, the one thing Republicans don't, and between Covid deaths, and juyst plain old aging, that time is short. I doubt they can hold out another ten years, at the state or national level.

Progs have promoted that people who raised families with a husband and wife are evil. And have weakened the nuclear family for agendas. The costs to societies and western civilization has been enormous. And the blame gets worse by the Progs on those same type of families.
