It has happened many time in History. In Egypt, China, Germany, e,t,c. This was done by busting the statues, rewriting history, book burning, killing the writers, changing the laws. I don't use Twitter, I don't use Facebook, I do use Instagram, I don't use anything typically considered to be 'social media.'

Having said that, Twitter is a business & as such they have a right to run their business as they see fit, within the laws.

Replacing “illegal alien” with “undocumented immigrant” is just another way the pro-amnesty lobby is pushing its open-borders agenda. Besides, the Immigration Reform and Control Act federally codified the term “illegal alien” into federal law when President Ronald Reagan signed it in 1986.

So "illegal alien" is the proper terminology.
