For any sports, the most important factor are viewers.
If these girls want to wear closed suits while playing beach handball, I don't belive that many viewers will watch such competitions.

What women are wearing on the beach now, looks much more provocative and frank than what these norwegian athletes complained about. They knew where they were going to play, they knew the rules, they agreed to all this, but then, they decided that they were not satisfied with the rules.
