It's equal a trophy for just showing up. You don't play the game for the popular vote. If the Hilderbeast and her camp campaigned to get said popular vote, then that would explain why they lost.

In other terms, If Trump wanted the popular vote he'd have campaigned for it, and he likely would have won. At any rate, he campaigned to win the election instead. Try to distinguish the differences.

"Popular" has no meaning here. If popular had any true meaning, then Budweiser would actually taste good.

It does, however, show that there's some hope for America. The intelligent still out number the morons.

Most of Hillary's votes came from areas heavily populated with anchor babies and their illegal relatives. Why the hell should we allow them to determine the future of our country? They vote for one thing and that is amnesty for illegals.

It's quite possible that millions of illegals did vote. Obama made it clear to them that they would get away with it. Of course, they voted for the one who wants open borders and no repercussions for those breaking our laws.

If elections were simply by popular vote, then the illegals in southern California would dictate everything. The current system allows for American citizens in flyover country to have a say, which is how it should be.

Our founders understood quite well the dangers of a true democracy. We would have the lunatics running the asylum.

Yes, Trump winning the election does show there's some hope for America. The intelligent are cleaning up the mess left by the morons.

Trump should have used the motto "Make Mexico Great Again" and he would have got 80% of the votes in California.

What it shows is that the vast majority of morons are still, mercifully, concentrated in the urban areas of the coasts.

Not fact, and you're projecting. Hillary lost. As a response her supporters embrace a participation trophy. That's the definition of irony.

LOL @ "legal".

^^^^ exactly why you might not see another Democrat winning the White House again for the next 12 - 16 years.

These idiots can't help themselves. They have their heads up their asses.

Telling moderate democrats they are morons cost them Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Iowa and Ohio.........

BUT THEY WON NEVADA?

Now, if you ask me, if you're looking for a moron.........

LOOK IN THE DAMN MIRROR.

You simply can't make this stuff up folks!

We know damn well illegals voted. And it's scary that most of Hillary's votes were in southern Cal and other areas that are heavily populated with illegals and anchor babies. It's good that a few areas can't decide for the whole country. The majority of people in the majority of states voted for Trump.

So every election other than the presidency is meaningless?

There is no popular vote.
So what did you do on election day?
I voted for my state government and for the Republican presidential candidate to win my state's electoral votes.

Your idea of the "popular vote" is simply an observance of how many people voted for each candidate.

Do you even understand how much Canadians hate the popular vote in their country?

Why do you ask irrelevant questions? My guess is that's all you have. You might take the hint.

The popular vote shows that 52.7% of the voters, voted against Trump.
