Freakin awesome. The owners of Atilis Gym in Bellmawr, NJ, long a center of defiance against NJ governor Phil Murphy’s lockdown orders over the now estimated 99.8% survival rate virus, COVID-19, broke down the doors to their establishment which had been boarded up by a court order, to the cheers of a throng of supporters. In more good news Ohio Governor Mike DeWine reversed himself by allowing doctors to prescribe hydroxychloroquine therapies for the disease, following a major press conference of physicians who said the treatment is indeed effective, and cited successes in other countries as well as published medical studies. Countries using HCQ have suffered a fraction of the death rate of the US.
One of the gym owners concluded that, at the outset of rolling nationwide lockdowns, “They asked for 14 days to flatten the curve, here in New Jersey we are now on 300, we’re done with this.”
In May it was reported that one of the owners’ mother was dying wth coronavirus, but that he could not risk a visit because he would be forced to quarantine and his mother would “kick his *&^” if he did not finish the fight he was in.
