This is worse than just missing the foul. They call it on the wrong player! Cowboys TE Ferguson gets called for PI on a potential touchdown pass late in the TNF game. But He was the one clearly interfered with, but since no replay assist allowed the call stands. The NFL has got to bring replay review on calls/non calls. The Refs aren't getting any better.

Well I'm not sure I see anything there that isn't just good football, but the officiating has gotten just ridiculous, with all these rules, money and butt-clernching technicality on so much else, how can they justify not having a quick film-review of such an important play?

There is WAY TOO MUCH MONEY IN FOOTBALL for the officiating to be this awful.

Get some better tech.

Make the right calls...

The tech is in place now. But the league doesn't want attention drawn to how shitty the NFL officials are, that's the only reason they don't allow challenges on calls/non-calls. Totally ridiculous.

Got two things:

1. To play DB on long pass. The O grabbing you running all the way down the sideline. You finally look back, reaching to deflect the ball. You graze R right arm. Ball drops. DB spins like a top after....looking for a flag. Yes It's gotten that bad in many games. Then other games? Looks like 1975. NE @ OAK.

2. How come we did not hear of this? When? Yes Im lazy. Fat fingered small Sansung keyboard.

You need to hear thd announcer. This game was not a lock. BUFF needed points? As always.

when are the sheep going to understand the refs the past couple of decades have been taking payoffs to throw these games and the NFL is as much phony and fraud as pro wrestling?

best to do as me and just view games on youtube from the 70's and 80's and mid 90;s when the game was not a corrupt cartel that it is now.

Unwatchable. Mealy mouthed FOX barelyvshows one quick bad view replay on the tripping over own feet. Tight game. 1-2 calls swing the result. Note: it's when they make bad calls that really fixes any game.

Now NO@ATL means something. Is that what the goal was

  • A controversial offensive pass interference call against Panthers wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan in the third quarter wiped out a potential 30-yard gain, a decision that was heavily criticized by analysts and fans alike.
  • Later in the same quarter, Buccaneers tight end Cade Otton tripped over his own feet but was awarded a defensive pass interference penalty, a call that sparked further backlash.
  • Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble had his helmet ripped off by Buccaneers linebacker SirVocea Dennis, yet no penalty was called on the play, adding to the perception of biased officiating.
  • Head referee Brad Allen defended the crew's decisions, stating that the offensive pass interference call was made on the field without replay assistance and that the receiver had created more than one yard of separation, which is illegal under NFL rules.
  • Former NFL players Pat McAfee and Ryan Clark labeled the officiating as "absolutely unacceptable" and alleged rigging in the game, emphasizing the severity of the calls against Carolina.
  • Despite the controversy, the Panthers remain in contention for the NFC South division title if the Atlanta Falcons defeat the New Orleans Saints in their Sunday matchup.

You can expect this trend to only worsen.
