The New York Times' first reaction to the attack on Paul Pelosi was to say the Republicans were to blame and we shouldn't allow the Republicans to express themselves anymore.

Isn't it interesting that the nation's #1 beneficiary of the First Amendment is one of the principal advocates for eliminating it?

This is where we need new legislation punishing irresponsible news outlets for spreading deliberate misinformation in an effort to use the printed word for nothing more than craven political ambition and partisanship.
