The New York Slimes is just a pile of shyte, going downhill since the 1930s when they defended Stalin.

Now they are, in a time of a health crisis, spreading panic by misquoting Trump as telling the governors that 'they are on their own.' When will Democrats stop lying about this heroic American?

New York Times Authors Deceptively Edit Trump Quote on Medical Ventilators

At least eight New York Times authors shared a deceptively edited quote Monday from President Donald Trump’s recent call with state governors, creating the false impression that the president is denying federal support for ventilators that are needed in hospitals treating coronavirus patients.

In his message, the president recommended that states procure respirators and ventilators because it would be faster — but added that the federal government “will be backing you.”

The Times journalists omitted the bulk of the president’s statement as they shared the story on social media. The misleading, partial quote was also boosted by a CNN correspondent and became the lead headline at the left-wing Huffington Post.

Despite growing online backlash to this misinformation, the journalists have yet to delete or retract their comments.

The eight journalists tweeted a link to a Times article published Monday that contains President Trump’s full statement to state governors in which the president recommended that they shouldn’t wait for the federal government to fill the growing demand for respirators needed to treat people with coronavirus.

“Respirators, ventilators, all of the equipment — try getting it yourselves,” President Trump told the governors during the Monday conference call. “We will be backing you, but try getting it yourselves. Point of sales, much better, much more direct if you can get it yourself.”

But in the body of their posts, the Times journalists left out most of what the president said.

Of course they did. Nothing new. Disgraceful as it is.

It blows my mind when antisemites say the NYT is controlled by Zionists.

Zionists?

Hell, the NYT hates Jews, particularly religious Jews.

I have so many people ignored maybe i am missing something here. But the New York Times doesnt hate Jews. It is owned and controlled by Jews. Same as CNN and MSNBC.

But yes it does hate Israel. Definitely not controlled by zionists. As far as hating religious jews..they hate them just like they hate religious Americans in General.

Its what they do. These are your enemies. These are the richest and most powerful media corporations the world has ever seen and their funding is unlimited. They bring this oligarchical power to bear on Trump and the citizens who elected him

Something will have to be done with them...one day.

BTW it is entirey possible they will retract. They do it all the time. On page 4a. The serfs who are democrats dont rad though and the retraction wont be carried on CNN.

When you want something delivered as soon as possible do you call the post office or UPS? Maybe the simplicity is what escapes enemy democrats. You want respirators. Call the factory and they will be sent right out. Ask the government to supply you with respirators and you will fill out your request in quadruplicate. A clerk will begin processing. A mid level bureaucrat will send the request to the wrong factory. It will be returned. Then it will be sent to the right factory who will send the respirators to a government warehouse. Your order will be forgotten. You call four times. They find your order but half the respirators have been broken.

Trump is right again.

Yesterday he said he ordered them, so what gives? Also, actually he did tell them that!!

Trump told reporters Monday the federal government has ordered "tremendous numbers" of ventilators and respirator masks, but, he added, it is "always going to be faster" if states get them directly from suppliers.

It's not clear how many masks or ventilators the federal government has ordered. The Hill has reached out to the the Department of Health and Human Services for comment.

The federal government keeps a stockpile of medical supplies in case of emergencies that states can tap into, including 10.5 million respirator masks and 12,700 ventilators.

Trump urges states to secure their own medical supplies for coronavirus

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the Trump administration's infectious disease expert, told ABC on Monday that the federal government has an estimated 13,000 ventilators in a Strategic National Stockpile, which keeps medical supplies on hand for states to use in emergencies. But whether the number of ventilators nationwide is enough depends on how well the country can contain the virus, Fauci said.

The NYT is run by secularists, some of whom have a Jewish background, but they are no more Jewish than Hugh Heffner was Christian.

The DoD is also donating 2,000 but is that counted in the 13k or not? That would bring the total to 15k if not.

Ventilators are for ICU cases, not the typical person who needs hospitalization with a high fever and pneumonia, which the WHO calls 'mild', lol.

How long will it take for china to manufacture the ventilators and ship them to the US?

assuming they dont want Americans to die that is

globalism is to blame for this crisis

Not to mention generic medicines. Trump has been warning us of this. After this is over I think he will have less trouble defeating the Democrats shilling for the Chicoms in the trade war.

The Slimes are just contingency toilet paper... and have been for quite some time.... although I dont think I'd wipe my ass with that filthy rag.
