The Trumped-Up Administration needs to find a nice cozy basement from which to campaign--Or, "An Undisclosed Location!). The states have to find $3.0. bil. per week, plus administration money. None seem to have it, even in petty cash(?). The Federal Government has to find $100.0 bil. in the next few weeks--not in the EO at all. Maybe there are $95.0 bil. The Trumped-Up accountants don't know.

There are upwards of 30.0 mil. now receiving monies. Consumer Spending took its firs $18 bil. weekly hit last week. No more of that is on the way. Far less Consumer Spending is on the way. Far less state and local tax receipts are on the way.

The EO expressly requires paperwork processing for eligibility for any money. The new bureaucracy employees are not in place--just for doing that.

54 to 60 billion........and.........that is floating around being grabbed by disaster funds and Cares funds ....unused to States already...........

nice try.

Illiterate eagle 1462010 is $40.0 bil. short, including actually trying--difficult as rational thinking is for that kind of brand. There are upwards and likely more than 30 mil. receiving benefits last month, and the EO calls for $300.00 per week, widely known--just in federal money.

The Democrats had their bill ready for the Senate three months ago. The Anti-American(?), Republican Senate Majority Leader announced last week that people in his party would agree to absolutely nothing.

The consensus duration of extended benefits is weeks. The Memorandum was signed with Trumped-Up Administration having no clue about where any CARES Act money was to be found, if any. Apparently, "It is what it is(?)!" The certainty is about a month of unemployment funding. There are upwards of 30 mil. self-certifications to be processed--sounding a lot like FEMA accounts. A recipient has to have at least $100.00 per week in benefits coming in(?): Maybe helpful in defunding family assistance Welfare accounts--at the local levels--needing more funds.

The text of the memorandum calls for up to $44 billion of federal funds for the benefits to come from the Department of Homeland Security's Disaster Relief Fund. The White House said states could use funding from the March coronavirus relief package, the CARES Act, to fund their portion of the benefits.

Given the current number of Americans unemployed, those disaster funds would likely last only a handful of weeks.

Consumer spending took an $18.0 bil. weekly hit last week, not likely to be replaced near-term. The CARES Act only had $150.0 bil. allocated to states--weeks and weeks ago. There is no presumption that none of it was spent, and fact 20 or more states are asking for more.

Sounds like the Democrats need to get off their asses and help get something worked out...

Of course, I expect them to go to court to challenge Trump's EOs (and screw the people on unemployment out of the extra money Trump DID find for them)...
