Depends on the political environment. Bruce Rauner ousted Quinn in 2014 when it was a Republican wave year. Then Pritzker ousted Rauner in 2018 in a Democratic wave year. If 2022 is a good year for the GOP as expected Kinzinger can certainly pull it off, especially since he's perceived as a moderate which might play well in the Chicago suburbs.
