Not really a Garth fan, I do like some of his music, just not a country music person.
The series was interesting. I have a new found respect for the man. I did not know he, to this day, is the top selling solo artist in the world - any Genre. Yep...waaaay more than Elvis, Michael Jackson and Prince. They don't even come close.
And that is why I respect him. Somehow... Garth Brooks stayed... Garth Brooks. He never became the superstar. Never fell into the trappings so many other super star entertainers fall into. Never lost himself.
Also didn't know he quit for 14 years to raise his three daughters..... right in the height of his popularity. Walked away to raise his kids. No one else has ever done that. Wow.
