That's how long we made it. The acting is at least as bad as a high school play. And the dialog writing was worse. Laughable.
This is the new thing among streaming channels. Hire a well known, or at least reasonably known actor/actress and then make a show surrounding them hoping they can somehow keep people watching.
In another thread I mentioned how a new limited series on AppleTV "The last days of Ptolemy Grey" seems to be a good show.
Well... the first two episodes were. Actually really good. Episode 3...okay... not quite as good... but okay.
Episode 4 was the last one we watched over a week ago.
The show surrounds a solid good actor Samuel Jackson. And he does a very good job playing this character. The story starts/characters are introduced well, the story builds...you start caring... and then it idles. It doesn't go anywhere anymore. It's like Episode 3 and 4 are in slow motion. Just a bunch of people sitting around talking.

Originality has died. It's too provocative. Besides, a black lead is all they need.
