Some interesting numbers

The economy needs 100 to 125 thousand jobs a month just to keep up with population growth. If we are generous and use the lower number that means that we need a minimum of 1.2 million jobs a year just to keep up with new people looking for work. Subtracting that from the new jobs we got in 2010 that means the economy added 200,000 jobs for the entire year. Get back to me when it is adding 1.2 million jobs a month and I will be impressed.
 
I freely admit I am ignorant on this subject.

Can President Obama really do anything himself to affect unemployment ?

LOL! Sure, go ahead and complain that there are still 4 million few employees than before Obama got elected,

but he was pointing out the 2 million jobs created over the past year --with Republican leadership in the House...
