For those of you whose teams are not in the Conference finals, here is the basketball thread to talk about your team for now. :(

The Pacific Northwest are the big winners. Portland is probably going to take Greg Oden and Seattle is probably going to get Kevin Durant. Oden is the better choice for Portland and Durant is the most NBA ready player right now, which would possibly save the franchise and could keep the team in Seattle.

Portland had the best draft last year with Aldridge and Roy. Now you get Oden and a possible Zach Randolph trade that could land them Conley from Ohio State...wow. You're talking about a solid playoff contender for at least the next decade.

Seattle needs a big man like Oden but Oden will take a little while to develop and adjust. The Sonics need someone who can sell tickets immediately and Durant is THE guy in this draft that can do that. They need to resign Lewis. I'd hate to see Seattle let Rashard go for nothing, they should at least do a sign and trade if he really wants out. Ray Allen is getting up there in age, I'd say he's only got about 3 to 5 years of good basketball left in him- if they let Lewis go, they should just blow this team up and start over with either Durant or Oden.

How'd your team make out in the lottery?

Mind if I jump start this old thread?

Chet Holmgren might go number 1. Skinny white 7 footer. I'm ok with the Piston's not getting him. But he looks good.

I hope we get Keegan Murray at 5.

Murray is a switchable big who can guard in space and consistently make shots from the perimeter. What he does, at his size, is perfectly suited for the modern NBA and would fit well with a Detroit franchise trying to return to respectability with Cade Cunningham as the centerpiece.

Rockets fan here, I'm loving getting the 3rd pick because I want someone else to be tempted by Chet, am hoping we get our hands on Banchero.

I will be pissed if we do what Yahoo Sports says we're going to do. They say we're going to pick Shaedon Sharpe

Ht./Wt.: 6-5, 215 pounds | Class: Freshman | Kentucky: Did not play this season

The Pistons might not be getting their dream big in this draft after falling to No. 5, but there's still a ton of value and intrigue with Sharpe as the No. 5 pick. He's the most athletic player in this draft class and a dynamic shooter from beyond the arc. Killian Hayes has struggled to stay on the court due to injuries in his first two seasons and Sharpe could be the complementary piece to Cade Cunningham in the backcourt.

Sharpe didn't play a game at Kentucky and said in a statement on Twitter that he is maintaining his college eligibility, but it's only a matter of time before he announces he is staying in this draft class.

Don't want him. I want Keegan Murray who they say the Piston's will pass on him and he will go to Indiana.

Ht./Wt.: 6-8, 215 pounds | Class: Sophomore | Iowa: 23.5 ppg, 8.7 rpg

Murray brings great size at the wing position and was arguably the best college basketball player last season. He isn't going to be the No. 1 option on the court for the Pacers but has an efficient midrange game and is a solid defender. He'll need to improve on his playmaking at the next level, but with Tyrese Haliburton and Malcolm Brogdon on the court, he won't have the ball in his hands as much as he did at Iowa.

I wanted to see if anyone has ever talked about Ime Ukoka the COACH of the Celtics. Cool you were talking about him in 2007 as a player. I guess he's still a player. LOL.
