Population of Baltic states all together is a little more that population of city of St. Petersburg and a lot smaller than population of the city of Moscow:

Estonia less than 1.4 million; Lithuania less than 3 million; Latvia=2.013 million. Compare to: Moscow= 11.92 million and St. Petersburg=4.991 million. (No industry, no natural resources. Main income is tourism.)

The question is: are those Baltic states (who BTW always have been hateful to Russia) worth a damn for Russia to start a war with NATO? The answer is obvious: NO.

However the weapons makers obviously need more and more money, so they are the ones who constantly need to allege some kind of threat for their taxpayers to have a solid reason for getting more and more money to produce weapons. And that’s exactly what happened a few days ago:

The Pentagon’s claims that Russia and China are among the top challenges for the US is a justification to continue the flow of taxpayer’s money into major weapon systems and their corporate sponsors, Karen Kwiatkowski, retired US Air Force Lieutenant Colonel told RT.

US Secretary of Defense Ashton Carterannounced Tuesday that the Pentagon will request a $582.7 billion defense budget in order to maintain security (several times more than last year). According to Carter, there are five main challenges for the US to focus on Russia, Iran, China, North Korea and ISIS.

‘Acts of aggression come from Pentagon, not Russia or China’

Now, who needs the war: Russia or Pentagon?

Pentagon is actually lucky to have Russia as a Boogeyman every time it needs more money to spend on weapons.
Luckily there is the evil empire! – Third War World – Today, people of good will may change history ….

Ironically, the separation of these Baltic countries from Russia - is really bad precedent for US. It was performed with ideology of Bzhezinsky, crazy hater, full of worst Polish psycho-troubles against Russia... Did he thought about US interests, or just about own hate?

The problem of these countries - they all were BOUGHT by Russia from Sweden. Not conquered, not owned... It's a wonderful law precedent to Alaska to do the same - claim independence from US and got all revenues from resources mining in own social sphere... To become rich and independent United States of Alaska...
