You can't believe that because you're probably not affected at all. But women will be made second class citizens because they don't even have control over their own reproductive Rights.

How do you figure that? Most women I know had full control over their reproductive rights. If they had sex for fun only, they took precautions not to get pregnant. You can't have much more control than that.

That would be a horrible mistake. The whole abortion issue should not be a matter of law or the courts. It's a medical issue best decided by the women involved and their doctors. Having anyone else get involved just complicates the process. Despite what many posters are saying on here abortion is never an easy decision. It's a difficult one, and anyone else getting involved in it just makes it more difficult.

It's the pro abortion people that made it a court issue in the first place when they fought to have their case heard by the Supreme Court and won. That prohibited states that didn't want abortions to have them legal against the will of their leaders and voters.

If overturned it will return that power back to the states. If you live in a state that's anti-abortion they can make all abortions illegal if they want. If you live in a state that supports pro-choice then they can have abortions right up to the day of birth.

In short, the overturning of RvsW only empowers the state to do what they want on the issue.

Control over your own body doesn't start with the choice to an abortion. The choice starts with using birth control which is readily available around every corner. The choice starts with not letting the dick in the vag if no condom. The choice starts with better decisions around sex, sexual partners, and a whole host of other choices.

Again, pregnancy is not like cancer that a woman gets without warning. We have to stop treating pregnancy like it's some mystical, physical malformity with no known cause. Hell, masturbation is better than having an unwanted pregnancy. There are so many other ways to enjoy "Sex" than vaginal. If a woman is with a man or someone with a dick, and they don't have a condom, don't have vaginal intercourse. Oral, anal, foot jobs, boob jobs, hand jobs. So what laws are you talking about here? This has nothing to do with any law, this has to do with the determination of constitutional rights. Again, the overturning of RvW only means there are no constitutional protections of abortion, and there isn't unless you can show me where that is.

So the actual debate is about following the Constitution, not any law until the states create their own laws on the matter.

Abortion is a seriously divided issue, but not the most important one in the eyes of women. You don't give them enough credit. What they are looking at is what it costs them now to fill up their SUV they use to haul their family in. They are looking at their huge increase in their grocery bill. What it cost them last winter to keep themselves and their family warm.

Only younger and more irresponsible females will be outraged by this, and they were never going to vote Republican anyway. The Democrat party is the party of irresponsible people and weirdos.
