Narrative Fail: 20 Year Ice Field Expansion in Antarctica Continues

What exactly do you mean when you say "pure bullshit"? Do you believe that the oceans are not rising? Do you believe all the rising sea level data are manufactured? And if so, is Obama buying a waterfront home the only evidence you've got?

You agreed they rose 0.15 inches.
Today itā€™s in feet.
Kerry has how many mansions, private jets and SUVā€™s?

They know itā€™s bullshit.

Are you saying that's all your evidence?

Modern Icelandā€™s Climate Is Colder With More Ice Than Any Other Time In The Last 8000 Years Except The 1800s

A new study (GeirsdĆ³ttir et al., 2020) now affirms peak Holocene warmth at least ā€œāˆ¼3ā€“4 Ā°C above modern in Icelandā€ prevailed throughout much of the last 8000 years. Data from tree growth, glacier-induced soil erosion, algae productivity, sea ice biomarker proxies (IP25), and other climate indices affirm these conclusions.

Harning et al., 2020 report an overall 7Ā°C Holocene cooling trend In Icelandā€™s surrounding sea surface temperatures (SST).

ā€œIn terms of foraminifera-reconstructed SST there is an overall trend of cooling throughout the last 8 ka from ~10 Ā°C to ~3 Ā°C.ā€

It is only in the last few centuries of the modern era that temperatures sharply plummeted to their lowest values of the last 10,000 years (GeirsdĆ³ttir et al., 2020).

ā€œThe coolest climate of the last 10 ka occurred in the late 1800s CE.ā€

Consequent to the peak cooling, glaciers and sea ice reached their maximum extents of the Holocene just 150 years ago.

While Icelandā€™s glaciers and North Shelf sea ice extent did partially recover in the first half of the 20th century, the ice extents are still beyond what they were in the 1700s and earlier.

There is nothing to indicate modern warmth or ice recession in and around Iceland is unprecedented or even unusual.

I didn't know Iceland was the world. The global temperatures over the Holocene look like this:

Your chart shows we are at zero anomaly.
Eeeerrrrrā€¦ā€¦.

The dipshit is still using a long-discredited chart thus he fails once again to make case.

The scientist/Researcher Marcott states about the chart:

Q: What do paleotemperature reconstructions show about the temperature of the last 100 years?

"20th century portion of our paleotemperature stack is not statistically robust, cannot be considered representative of global temperature changes, and therefore is not the basis of any of our conclusions."

Here is his original chart when he posted his THESIS:

The dishonest warmist/alarmist GOOK doesn't have anything else to lie about which is why he repeats use of that chart that is lie.

From Climate Audit is this smashing takes down of the bogus uptick:

But but it canā€™t be true, the manmade computer models created by people with an agenda say it canā€™t be happening!
Donā€™t believe your lying eyes.
We must continue to destroy the economy to save the ice!

That's annual ice.

It's obvious you don't care that it's irrelevant.

Like I said you didn't read the paper and failed to explain WHY you think the paper is irrelevant thus you are exposed as a liar.

Your endless stupidity never ends.....

As the paper admits right off the top, Antarctica as a whole is still shedding billions of tons of ice every year, raising global sea level. The West Antarctic Ice Shelf is still rapidly moving into the ocean as its sea ice has been melted by upwelling warm water and the shelf is inherently unstable and is at risk of a catastrophic collapse within the next decade; a collapse that could raise global sea level by many feet, virtually overnight. That portions of Antarctica are retaining their ice shelves due to a change in wind patterns and despite radically elevating temperatures is, as I said, irrelevant. It does NOT indicate that global warming is not taking place. It does NOT indicate that Antarctica is not experiencing radically rising temperatures. It does NOT indicate that the WAIS is not dangerously unstable and certain to eventually collapse.

So, please explain; what do you believe the retention of ice on the EAIS from a change in wind patterns tell us about the BIG PICTURE?

Do you actually think that the global temperature could have risen 1.2C in one century, immediately dropped 1.2C in the next century and not shown in more than one of the 73 proxies they used? It didn't happen Todd. There has been nothing like the last century at any point in the entire Holocene. The rapid rise is due to human GHG emissions and because too many people like you have decided to ignore the science and do nothing about it, it is going to fuck us up.
