My worst Notre Dame football losses

1) 20-17 against USC in 1964 - when they were ranked #1 and led 17-0 at half - last game ofseason
ND got screwed in that game
2) 41-39 loss against Boston College in 1993 - When they were ranked #1 in final game ofseason

3) 55-24 loss against USC in 1974 - after leading24-0.

Todays loss at Michigan was a bitch butafter the loss againstSo Florida they werent goinganywhere..............................

The1964 loss hurt bad.

After years of losing - ND resurfaced underfirstyear coach Ara P and Heisman Trophy winning GQ John Huarte.

Were 9-0 ranked #1 in all thepolls - took a train trip from Chicago to LA -big media event.

Got screwed in the game by bad call on a phantom holdingpenalty. that wipe out a ND TD.

1964 was the first year ofthe transition from one platoon (were players played both ways ) to 2 platoon football.
