'My son is not very optimal - he is very dead':

The reason the president can be so cavalier and go onto a comedy show and make such a callous comment? Because he is an out of touch empty suit. <please note bolded quote to address the Obamabot zombie apologists.

The website Breitbart criticised the president for playing down the deaths of the four Americans when he used words such as 'crude and disgusting' to describe the anti-Muslim YouTube video that was initially linked to the attacks.

'To reiterate: deaths of Americans are "not optimal," and "bumps in the road." A YouTube video is "bigotry," "blasphemy," "crude and disgusting," an "insult," and inhuman,' commentator Ben Shapiro wrote.

'The left is already saying that the "not optimal" quote has been taken out of context; they were saying that Stewart used the word "optimal" first.

'The problem: it's far worse in context. Stewart said that the White House response was "not the optimal response". Obama responded not by tackling the White House response, but by calling the murders "not optimal"'

Shapiro added: '"Not optimal". Now that's disgusting.'
Barack Obama on Benghazi attack: Mother of diplomat criticises President's 'optimal' comment | Mail Online

Yes, stop the presses after a mother criticizes the president... BTW the article links to the Mail online and the mothers comments...but you go ahead and stick to the typical liberal zombie apologist mode of making this about where the story comes from instead of addressing what the story deals with...

Obama is a huge embarassment to this country.

Hopefully, the nightmare will end in November.

True.

And that's why a lot of folks who voted to elect this clown our president won't be doing so again this go-round. They're feeling used, cheated, duped, etc. now that they've experienced the real, hopelessly inept phony twit that is the real Barack Obama.

The 47%ers deserve this worthless piece of crap.

That was not an optimal statement for obama to make. It's right up there with saying the attack gave him a bad day.

So is she the new Cindy Sheehan?

I'm guessing the right's character attacks should be soon to follow.

There's a difference between this mother and Sheehan.

Cindy's son joined the military and was at war protecting others.
(and she was stupid for protesting as she did, since it was her son's choice to join!)

Sean Smith was supposed to BE protected by our Government at the Embassy.
They asked for help and got none. His mother has every right to complain and demand answers. Cindy had no right to demand anything.

Furthermore, if insensitive pricks bother you, what in the fuck would make you think Romney is a good choice for president?

Romney would never make a statement like that. he is just the opposite of Obama. He thinks of the people first where Obama thinks of himsielf continually.

No, poor foreign policy initiatives led to the deaths.

The only difference is who's in office.

How about a little accuracy...(not that that is common from Brietbart et al) - this is what the President ALSO said about the deaths...and the video....

There are no words that excuse the killing of innocents. There is no video that justifies an attack on an Embassy.

No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for. Today we mourn four more Americans who represent the very best of the United States of America. We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act. And make no mistake, justice will be done.
