My candidates are doing pretty well tonight so far how are yall's doing?

State house rep I voted for is in first, congressional candidate is in 2nd, will know more later when news comes on. I don't live in city limits so couldn't vote for mayor but REALLY hoping the young white guy who wants businesses to come here beats the old black woman who has been involved in politics here for 20 years and done NOTHING to move our town forward.

Both the state house candidate and the congressional candidate came in 2nd but first place finisher didn't hit 50% so there will be a runoff. No idea on local races yet. I hope the school choice amendment we got to vote on passed!

The candidate I liked for Mayor won, barely but he won. Like 38 votes was the difference, Scary to think that many people wanted a black woman in a VAST majority white town who has done NOTHING in 20 years on the city council to be mayor. My candidate for Sheriff lost, he came in 2nd which sucks but I don't plan on being here much longer after the sheriff candidate who won takes office so.
