I never heard of OAN Network before this thread, I'll conclude that it's just after publicity with this lawsuit.

It would surprise me that anything Maddow said injured OAN Network's reputation and can't imagine that it lost any viewers.

A lie that is used to defame a business or an individual is not protected by the Constitution. It is a criminal act. Mrs. Maddow takes it one step further; by the time she'd done lying, the defamation turns into calumny, plus people think she really knows when she is merely creating a false narrative that "seems" believable based on other proven false narratives.
