These are movies you love, but are not the obvious ones everyone loves.

For me - at the top of the list is - The Chronicles of Riddick.
There is something satisfying about this film. Not sure what it is.
The special effects are artistic and well done. The scenery is also well done. The acting...well... not so much. But for me, in this film, it doesn't matter.
I love it just as it is.

Oh yeah!... I forgot about this movie. And I agree, it is as cheesy and predictable as it gets. But yet... I still like it.

The last Starfighter....

It doesn't get any cheesier than this. Special effects are embarrassingly bad. The acting terrible, this film should have bombed and died in oblivion.
But it is still a great movie.

That just happens to be one of the early films that my most favorite actor got to be in. I love Bronson Pinchot SO much!!! His character name is Alfred Schultz. This is his third film after Risky Business and the first Beverly Hills Cop.
