Has it occurred to you how "odd" the word, "movies" is?

In the golden days of photography, the people marveled at the new innovation of "moving pictures," which was abbreviated "movies." That innovation was later followed by moving pictures with sound ("talkies"), then color-moving pictures with sound, etc.

People in Show Biz don't use the term, "movies" as it is archaic and obsolete. They refer to them as "films," which ironically is also obsolete.

I have no suggestion as to how these things SHOULD be described.

Sorry.

Yeah, just saw the trailer for DnD the other day. Didn't even know it was the DnD movie until the end.

Saw the Mission Impossible trailer too, it finally came out. Cruise is finally starting to show his age.
I guess my assumption was correct........this is the last MI movie for the series.

Revised to one's I have an idea about:

Ant Man 3 - I will see.... not my fav Marvel but I'll do
Dungeons and Dragons - These always suck but I always give it a chance
Haunted Mansion - Needs a reboot and has way more potential than first version
Shazam 2 - Didnt love first one.. was ok, but meh.
Untitled Mario Bro.s movie - NO WAY
Guardians of the Galaxy 3 - YES WAY!
Little Mernaid - DISNEYS live action have all been pretty good.
SpiderMan across the Spiderverse - YES WAY!!!!
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts - Summer popcorn flick.. I'll do it.
The Flash - Not a DC fan.
Indiana Jones 5 - YES!!! The pattern is Good, bad, good, bad... we are due for GOOD.
Mission Impossible: Dead Reconing - ALWAYS a good time. May not make any sense but it will be pretty people doing pretty things.
Barbie - NO WAY
The Marvels - YES WAY!
TMNT - NO WAY
Equalizer 3 - Not sure they can stretch this out but IM IN!
The Nun 2 - meh
The Exorcist - Can only be worse... Why?
Blade - Nope, OK maybe
Dune - part 2 - YES WAY
Wonka - NOT needed in my book
Ghostbusters Afterlife 2 - LOVED THE REBOOT, IM IN!!!!!
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron - ID WATCH A MOVIE ABOUT A STAR WARS TRASH CAN.. SO IM IN!!!
Untitled Star Trek movie - Always a fan of these
Aquaman 2 - NOT a DC Fan... this is a maybe

His age showing was pretty abrupt compared to what he looked like a few years ago. Reminds me of how presidents physical age accelerates quickly during office. My only thought is he was given access to what made them age, like hes in the club or something. Ultra top secret, makes your hair turn white in week.
