Raising Arizona was made in the mid 1980's when Cage was more concerned with quality movies and performances. Before Raising Arizona, he did Boy in Blue and Peggy Sue Got Married and after it he did Moonstruck, all great movies. In those days he did 2 or 3 movies a year. The garbage he turns out today is no comparison. Today he does 4 to 6 movies a year gets 1 to 12 million a movie and they require only a month or so of his time filming. Cage is really a good actor. I just wish he would concentrate more on quality and less on quantity He has won over dozen major awards including best actor and all except two were in the 20th century..
