It is the best chance against the House. Requiring some level of skill.
Had a hard time playing in Vegas though.
In Vegas they were dealing single deck, cards dealt face down for players. Got my ass kicked.
Tribal casinos here go 6 or 8 decks and deal face up and you are not allowed to touch cards.
Funny that I do better with multiple decks and the ability to see other players cards.


Wildest hand ever.
Was dealt aces and split them, got aces on each split and split them again running four bets. Was told that was my limit for splitting but each ace drew a face card making four blackjacks.
Took my winnings and left immediately.

Why anyone gets into this picture, I will never know. Yeah, they may score something that they don't already have enough of, but why would they want to put at risk what they already have?

I only play black jack when I go to casinos. Sad part if you sit in a table with bunch of amateurs. That is why I only played in a $25 minimum bet tables.

And yes you can get addicted if you don’t control it.

Worst players I ever seen are in cruises where people doesn’t care about $25 minimum they just want to play.

Indian casinos here in southern Ca is booming the local economy big time. Now they have their own hospital, police department, schools, pave road etc etc etc.
It also made lots of Indian rich and made them drug addicts, women, gangs, alcohol and retired at 20s.

Pechanga and Pala casino cards face down in $25 minimum bet only 2 decker. I only play on 2 deckers or I don’t play and sit at last spot.


I also played in Macau and Hong Kong casinos. If you have 2 face cards (20s) and the dealer is showing less than 7 ( except ace) players will skin you alive If you don’t split.

I did that dealer was showing 4 and all these nuggets in that table WAAAAAH WEEEEENG are so mad at me.
Here in US if you split your 20s players will tell you that is stupid.

I’m a poker player. I used to play in neighbourhood games rooms in Toronto. Mostly sit ‘n goes, or small stakes cash games. There are no casinos in Toronto. But there are a lot of illegal poker rooms.

I regularly played Limit Hold ‘Em at the annual CNE Charity Casino which runs during the month of August, and did well there, but I’m more of a tournament player than a cash game player.

The casinos at the Falls are too expensive for my bank account. You need $500 to sit down as sitting down at a “no limit” table with less than the maximum is strategically unwise.
