I spent a little time in Zagreb in 1993 during a very tense time. It's a beautiful old city, and I had some really good food there. It's also where I finally got to drink a bottle of Budweiser beer - the original, at a very high alcohol level, not the Anheuser-Busch knockoff. In fact, all the popular beers were in the 12% alcohol range.

I was at the Attersee lake here in austria. I went on a boat trip. Afterwards I bought a beer from a food truck they spoke English and I asked where they are from one is Italian the other French I said bon giorno come stai they asked me you speak Italian I said only a few words the French man said and maybe Spanish I said no only a few words Italian
